Interest Rates and Interest Charges

Annualised Percentage Rate (APR)

For a loan amount of HKD100,000:

An APR is a reference rate which includes the basic interest rates and other fees and charges of a product expressed as an annualised rate. The APR is a reference only. The APR applicable to a customer is subject to his/her financial condition and is solely determined by Bank.

Annualised Overdue / Default Interest Rate

27% (2.25% per month)

Default interest will be applied when fail to repay monthly instalment in full by due date of each month. It is calculated on a simple interest and on a monthly basis. No minimum amount of default interest will be applied.

Late Payment Fee and Charge

HKD 500 per overdue payment.

Prepayment / Early Settlement/ Redemption Fee

2% of loan amount plus HKD200 will be charged if customer fully repay the outstanding loan balance prematurely.

Returned Cheque / Rejected Autopay Charge

Additional Information

Applicant must be a Hong Kong resident aged 18 or above, with employment and minimum annual income of HKD84,000.

Minimum loan amount is HKD10,000 and must be in multiples of HKD1,000.

The proportion of loan principal to interest in each monthly instalment amount is calculated according to the “Rule 78”. Please refer to our Bank website (www.hk.bankcomm.com/d.html?cd1) for details about Rule of 78.

Interest of the loan is calculated on the basis of 365 days per year (in both ordinary and leap years).
